2.      Ensures completeness and accuracy of patient records as established in guidelines of each project approved by the National Cancer Institute (NCI).
3.       Collects, organizes and monitors data as required.  Extracts patient clinical data from medical records or other sources containing patient clinical data. Verifies all data to the patient&apos;s medical record.
4.       Maintains communication with the Principal and Co-Principal Investigators to ensure accuracy of data.
5.       Ensures submission of data within specified timeframes.
6.       Maintains quality of data to meet statement requirements.
7.       Presents patient specific issues to the Quality Management Committee for resolution of conflicts.
8.       Maintains consistency and integrity of data collection. Reports concerns regarding data integrity to the Principal and Co-Principal Investigators.
9.       Serves as a resource person to staff in developing and analyzing systems needed to obtain information or statistics vital to the research project.
10.   Advises nurses who are delinquent in completing aspects of clinical record necessary for billing to occur.</description>

1.      Sets-up and performs a variety of routine and/or complex laboratory tests and procedures relevant to the particular lab area and personal qualifications.  Prepares and tests specimens for examination and reports results.
