Must have passed Certification exam (PTCB). Must be CPhT Certified and registered as a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the State Board of Pharmacy.

Proficient in written and verbal English language. Proficency in computer knowledge and use. Basic math and algebra skills. Good communication and problem solving skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Hospital experience preferred.

HOURS: 2-3 hours per day. Coverage will be required 7 days a week, which will be divided between 2 equal positions.

Duties
*Performs regularly assigned quality assurance functions.
*Medications are prepared accurately, efficiently and using sterile aseptic technique.
*Compliance with policies and procedures.
*Displays initiative to help other technicians and pharmacists and workflow.
*Prepares medications for dispensing.
*Assists in meeting legal requirements of the pharmacy and hospital.
*Performs pyxis stock maintenance functions.
*Assists in inventory maintenance and control.
