The Associate Chief Medical Information Officer will report to the Chief Medical Information Officer and will be responsible for overseeing the clinical aspects of designing and implementing the EMR.  In that capacity, s/he will interact with the clinicians and the clinical leadership of the individual hospitals as well as the health system to assure that the system meets the needs of clinicians, as well as supports quality and patient safety initiatives.  The Associate Chief Medical Information Officer will work closely with the Quality Management department to support the development of evidence-based order sets, documentation tools, and clinical decision support. QUALIFICATIONS: 
- A minimum of 3 years experience with information security technologies, networking equipment, TCP/IP protocols, and MS Windows operating systems required.
- Disaster recovery, contingency planning, encryption, network security management systems, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and/or vulnerability management experience is a plus.
- Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) is a plus. 
- Healthcare experience and familiarity with HIPAA and the Joint Commission are highly desirable.
