The University of Alabama at Birmingham has created a Stem Cell Institute that has the potential to be a major economic driver for the region, industry experts said.
The creation of the UAB Stem Cell Institute is scheduled to be voted on Friday at a University of Alabama Board of Trustees meeting in Tuscaloosa. The vote comes after UAB placed ads on May 7 seeking stem cell researchers to fill “junior” and “senior faculty” positions.Read Full Article
