Case girls learn about sea life, careers in science at New England Aquarium

A dozen girls from Joseph Case Junior High School recently visited the New England Aquarium, not just to learn about sea life, but science in general, as more and more women choose careers in science, math and the technologies.

The field trip was a daylong “Women in Science” program that drew students from Swansea, New Bedford and other parts of the state. The middle school girls were able to meet with professional women in marine science careers.
